Virtual Exhibit: Looking Back at Beauty and Cosmetics of the Past: 1870–1930

While working as a curatorial intern at the Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site, I had the opportunity to develop my own exhibit. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the exhibit had to be virtual, rather than in-person. However, I was responsible for developing the exhibit topic, compiling a list of exhibit objects, handling and photographing the selected objects, researching the exhibit topic, writing the intro panel as well as the object labels, and building and organizing the webpage for exhibit on the museum’s website. The site’s curator provided me feedback and support as well.
